Small areas of scarring on the areola can be disguised and camouflaged by the subtle introduction of pigment into the scarred areas. This can take the eye away from the scarred area. On the areola this scar camouflage is performed using permanent pigments in order to avoid future top-ups and maintenance.
Other areas of scarring can be treated with MCA Microneedling in order to smooth scars and make them re-pigment naturally. Scars may be blended into the surrounding skin with Mosiac Micropigmentation.
