Breast Cancer Haven | Support Through Breast Cancer

I had a very interesting meeting this month with Alison from the charity Breast Cancer Haven. She told me about the amazing work they do and I wanted to share this with you as they offer incredible support services for people who have gone through Breast Cancer and/or Mastectomy.

What’s even more amazing is that their help and support is FREE. 

Many people that I meet through my work say that they feel abandoned and lost after they have finished treatment so I think Breast Cancer Haven offer an invaluable support service and want to make sure more people know about it.

Breast Cancer Haven operate countrywide. My nearest one is in Leeds, Yorkshire but there are various locations around the UK including London, Hereford and Cheltenham. There are some great supportive videos online and a support forum if you don’t live near a centre.

Breast Cancer Haven will develop a program specifically for you to meet your needs. This can involve various types of 1:1 therapy including

• Counselling
• Acupuncture
• Aromatherapy
• Money, Benefits and Financial Advice
• Shiatsu
• Hypnotherapy 
• and many more

They also offer counselling and support for family and friends
